6. Course purchase and course access

Purolingo sells digital online courses. The technical fulfilment is handled by MemberPress and LearnDash LMS.

When purchasing and using a course, the following data may be processed:

• payment status
• purchased course
• course progress and access status
• technical usage data within the course area

Processing serves the performance of the contract and the provision of the digital course on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. Invoicing and tax-relevant data are additionally processed on the basis of statutory obligations, in particular Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR.

7. Payment providers

For payment processing, the following payment methods are offered through MemberPress:

• Stripe
• PayPal

7.1 Stripe

When paying via Stripe, payment data are transmitted to Stripe. Depending on the chosen method, this may include name, e-mail address, billing data, payment amount, payment method, transaction data, IP address, and other data required for payment processing, fraud prevention, and statutory obligations.
