2. Scope
These Terms of Use apply to all purchases and uses of digital online courses, lessons, videos, audio, PDF materials, and accompanying content on purolingo.com.
Deviating terms of the customer do not apply unless their validity has been expressly agreed in writing.
3. Offer and conclusion of contract
The presentation of courses and digital products on the website does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to order.
A contract is concluded when you complete the order process and the order is confirmed by us, or when digital course access is unlocked.
The contract is concluded in German or English, as displayed during the purchase process.
4. Digital online courses: pure self-paced format
The courses offered are exclusively self-paced digital online courses within the meaning of §§ 327 et seq. German Civil Code (BGB).
The courses are self-study courses without live sessions or personal support. One-to-one coaching via Zoom is offered separately by purolingo, under the terms agreed when the session is booked. You use the courses entirely flexibly in your own time and place, at your own pace.
Courses are delivered via LearnDash LMS. After successful purchase, you receive immediate access to the booked digital course content.
Content may include:
- video lessons
- audio exercises
- texts and learning materials
- PDF documents
- practice prompts
- course modules and lessons
5. Prices and payment
Prices indicated at the time of order apply.
Depending on availability, payment can be made via:
- Stripe
- PayPal
For Stripe or PayPal, the respective payment provider’s terms apply additionally.
6. Provision and access
For digital courses, provision is immediate after successful payment. Access is unlocked instantly.
Access duration follows from the respective product description. If no specific limit is stated, access exists for the duration that is technically and contractually intended for the product.
A claim to permanent or lifetime availability exists only if expressly stated for the product.
7. Technical requirements
To use the digital content, you need:
- a stable internet connection
- a current device
- an up-to-date browser
- the ability to play video and audio content
- a valid e-mail address
We assume no responsibility for limitations resulting from outdated software, missing internet connection, or unsuitable devices.
8. Usage rights
All course content, videos, audio, texts, exercises, PDFs, and other materials are protected by copyright.
With the purchase, you receive a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use for personal use of the booked content.
The following are not permitted:
- sharing of access credentials
- public performance
- reproduction
- resale
- upload to other platforms
- use for own commercial courses or trainings without express written consent
9. User account and access credentials
Where a user account is required for course access, the access credentials must be kept confidential.
You are responsible for ensuring that your access is not used by third parties. If you suspect unauthorised access, please inform us immediately.
10. Right of withdrawal and its expiry for digital courses
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. The details are set out in the withdrawal notice.
The right of withdrawal expires as soon as we have unlocked the course, provided that before the purchase you expressly agreed, via the checkbox in the order process, that we unlock the course before the end of the withdrawal period, confirmed that you are aware you lose your right of withdrawal, and we have provided you with both in the order confirmation sent by e-mail (§ 356 (5) German Civil Code, BGB).
11. Withdrawal Notice (in case the right of withdrawal has exceptionally not expired)
Right of withdrawal
If the right of withdrawal has not expired pursuant to Section 10 of these Terms of Use, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us:
Nathalie Claude Daxelhofer
c/o Resonance Reset™
Kirchstr. 34
79100 Freiburg
Germany
E-mail: info@purolingo.com
by means of a clear statement (for example, a letter sent by post or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you effectively withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw.
For this reimbursement we will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
12. No success guarantee
The courses serve linguistic, vocal, and communicative further education.
A specific learning outcome, a specific result, or a complete change of pronunciation, accent, or voice is not guaranteed.
Learning success depends, among other things, on practice, regularity, starting situation, and individual implementation.
13. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damages from injury to life, body, or health resulting from intentional or negligent breach of duty.
For other damages, we are liable in cases of intent and gross negligence.
In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual duties. In such cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
Liability under mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.
14. Availability
We strive for reliable availability of the digital course platform. Uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Maintenance, technical disruptions, security measures, or events outside our control may lead to temporary restrictions.
15. Changes to course content
We may update, improve, or technically adapt course content insofar as the contractually agreed scope of services is not significantly impaired.
16. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods.
For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which they have their habitual residence.
If individual provisions of these Terms of Use are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
